There are so many different ways that you can build your online business, and I'm always so curious to know what people are focusing on behind the scenes. So in today's video, I'm going to let you in on my plans for 2025 and share the exact strategies that I'm going to be putting my time and energy into so that I can run a successful and simple profitable business.

Focus Area #1: Building My Email List

Building your email list is arguably the most important metric to focus on in your online business. If you've not yet made this a priority, take this as a sign! It's time to start your email list because sales follow your email list. I will be using YouTube, affiliates, Facebook ads, and Pinterest to achieve thisβ€”notice none of those involve Instagram or TikTok, showing you can absolutely build your email list without those platforms.

Detailed Breakdown of Strategies:

  • YouTube: YouTube is the strongest and most beneficial platform you can be on as an entrepreneur. The effort you put in will continue to benefit you much longer after you post, and you can get in front of ideal clients actively looking for your help, which is really powerful.

  • Affiliates: Partnering with other entrepreneurs who share a similar ideal client to mine helps get in front of audiences that someone else has already spent the time and energy to build. This is a much faster way of building your email list.

  • Facebook Ads: Achieving email list goals can be challenging with only organic marketing, so that’s where ads come in. I'm changing my ads strategy this year to keep it simple and focused on running ads to low-ticket products. The goal isn't for these ads to be super profitable by themselves but to help grow the email list and use other sales funnels and launches to make up the profit.

  • Pinterest: I still love this platform as it feels like a simple and low-lift way to get more traffic just by utilizing content that I've created for other platforms.

Focus Area #2: Building Genuine Connections and Trust

In the world of AI and non-stop impersonal content, building genuine connections and trust is more important than ever. I plan to show up more than I have in previous years through regular YouTube videos, sharing more personal stories, more emails, and connecting with my community in the DMsβ€”not just sharing content but really trying to connect on a deeper level.

Focus Area #3: Launches and Sales Funnels

I will continue using both launches and sales funnels, which have served me well over the years. I plan on doing a big, fun launch every quarter, working in 90-day cycles. This frequency allows enough time to grow the audience and build the connection before going into a launch. Between launches, I will drive sales through my automated sales funnels, ensuring that sales pitches are happening every single day.

Focus Area #4: Multiple Streams of Income

I love having multiple streams of income and am excited to share more videos on this topic so you can set them up in your business as well. These income streams include online courses, affiliate marketing, and YouTube ad revenue. There's room for creativity hereβ€”if you decide you want to do one-on-one coaching or a group program or digital products, that's great too. There are many different ways to turn your knowledge into income.

4 Questions to Ask Yourself

I'm going to continue running my simple business that is actually enjoyable and fulfilling. Here are four questions for you to consider for your business:

  1. What will you do to build your email list?

  2. How will you build a connection and trust with your community?

  3. What sales strategies do you want to implement?

  4. What income streams do you need to build?
