Turn Your Expertise into Multiple Income Streams

Heads up: I use affiliate links for my fave products. If you click and purchase, I may receive a small commission at no extra cost to you.

Whether you’ve built up years of expertise or simply have a unique way of teaching something, you can absolutely turn what you know into a profitable, multi-stream online business.

Let’s dive into the different types of digital products and offers you can create — and which ones I recommend you focus on.

Hit play or read the post below:

1. One-on-One Coaching — A High-Value Starting Point

The easiest way to get started? Offer one-on-one coaching. You don’t need a big audience or tons of clients to make this work — just a clear result that you can help someone achieve.

Since coaching is personalized, it’s naturally more premium. It’s a fantastic first offer that helps you validate your niche, gain testimonials, and start generating income quickly.

2. Group Coaching — Scaling Your Time

Once you’ve worked with clients one-on-one, you’ll often move into group coaching. This typically runs for 6–12 weeks, and you walk a group through a set transformation, showing up weekly for coaching calls.

It’s a more scalable way to serve — but still requires your live presence. That means your income and impact are still capped by your availability.

3. Online Courses — My Favorite Model

Online courses changed everything for me — and they can for you too.

You create the course once and sell it over and over. You’re no longer trading time for money, and you can help hundreds (or thousands) of people without live calls filling your calendar.

You can pre-record lessons or teach them live, then package them for future students. Either way — this is the product that gives you scale, impact, and time freedom.

4. Memberships — Monthly Recurring Revenue

Memberships allow your students to continue learning and growing inside a community. You’ll deliver ongoing support or new content every month, and your members pay a monthly fee.

They’re amazing for creators who love building community — but they can be tricky to keep structured and valuable long-term. Churn (people leaving) is something to plan for.

5. Digital Products — Passive, Scalable Assets

Templates, checklists, swipe files, PDFs — these are low-ticket digital products that people can buy and use instantly. There’s no coaching involved, just clear value.

While they’re not typically your biggest revenue driver, they’re a fantastic way to grow your audience and generate sales passively — especially if you’re running ads.

My Business Model Recommendation

After nearly a decade in this space, here’s what I recommend for most course creators:

  • Core Offer: Build your business around online courses

  • VIP Tier: Add coaching or a group program as a premium offer

  • Backend Membership: Offer ongoing support to your students who want to go further

  • Low-Ticket Product: Use it in your funnel to build your email list or offset ad costs

This approach gives you leverage — and options — while allowing you to serve at different levels and price points.

Bonus Streams — YouTube + Affiliate Income

Now let’s talk visibility. You need a platform to grow your audience — and YouTube is one of the best. It helps you build authority, drive traffic, and once you’re monetized, it becomes another income stream.

You can also earn affiliate income by recommending tools you genuinely love. Share them in your YouTube descriptions, blog posts, or course materials — and get paid whenever someone buys through your link.

You Have So Many Options

There is no one “perfect” offer — the beauty of online business is that you can mix and match these based on your goals, energy, and lifestyle.

Start with the offer that feels most aligned right now. Then layer in more as you go. Your knowledge is powerful — and it’s more than enough to create a life-changing business.

If you have questions about where to start or how to scale, let me know in the comments. I'm cheering you on 💛
