My New Favorite Community Platform 😍

I've been running a high touch group coaching program called “90 Day Growth Strategy” where I help early stage entrepreneurs create a strategic sales and marketing plan. Most people that have online membership courses or group program and need a community element are currently using Facebook groups. However, I don't love this. I don't think that it's the best experience, and I think that when someone is going into Facebook they're pulled in a million different distractions. 😫 I really wanted a branded, stand-on-its-own community that could really facilitate the high touch quality vibe that I was going for. That’s when I found Mighty Networks.

So we found this new platform. We have loved running it. Our clients have loved it as well, so I wanted to share this with you in case you are doing some form of online community and you're looking for a new platform. It's called Mighty Networks, and it’s fantastic. It's quite easy to set up, it’s user friendly and it can do so much. And that's what I'm going to walk you through in today's video. Let's dive in! 🏊‍♀️ 

Topics 📖

First things first, I want to show you the Topics area. If we go into that tab, you'll see all the different topics that we have set up for our particular program. You can set up topics like this as well. There's a place for updates, where you get feedback, where you can get support, etc. And if you click on one of these, then what it does is it opens up like a Facebook news feed or the Facebook feed you would have within a group where you can go and post. You can post text, photos, videos, links, whatever you need. You actually have more options like creating a poll as well.

So this is fantastic for both you and for your students or clients. They can come in and they can post anything they need. What I love ❤️ about this is it's much cleaner and it's a better overall branded experience. 

Events 🎉

Then we have our Events tab, which I think looks so cute. This is where you can put all of your events, and when you click on one of them, it pops out. I think that it looks great, and Mighty Networks integrates with Zoom. You can just have your link right in Events, and your students or clients can RSVP and they can get notifications for when your event is coming up. This is really great for keeping your program organized. A lot of times, it's hard to keep track of all the calls and where people need to be. Now, they can just come into the events tab, see everything that they need, and all the links. They can go through the calendar as well, and quickly and easily see exactly when events are happening. 

Industries 🏭

Next, we have Industries. This is great because this allows your different members to connect within Mighty Networks based on the industry that they are in. A lot of connections have actually happened within our program because students can actually message one another, which I'll show you soon. 

Trainings 👩‍🏫

Next, I'm going to show you Trainings. You can actually host any content or online courses right within your Mighty Network. If I click on it, this is going to open up its own course area. I think that this looks great. If you click on one of these lessons here, it's going to open up and you can add any type of content that you need. You can add images, you can add video lessons, you can add links, resources, all in this lesson area; and it's nicely organized. For our program for each week, we have our lesson. Then we have our Q and A call, and then we also include some resources and worksheets as well. 

Messenger 💬

Clients and students can actually message one another in Mighty Networks, and you can message them as well. If you want to be offering even more in depth support, you can do that with the Messenger area. To do that, all you need to do is go up to the messenger icon and then you can search for a member. I'm going to do this little demo account with my puppy, Charlie. It's going to pop out with full messenger capability, and you can send over some messages.

Not only do we have the messenger capability like this, but we also actually have group chat, which is really cool. You'll see that we have a chat here, and it also displays everyone that is online in the moment, which I do love. If you click on the chat, you’ll see everyone that is in your network. For me, this includes me and Charlie and Taylor, and think of this as like a Slack thread or giant group chat. 

Home Screen Customization 🎨

In addition to this, you can customize the Mighty Networks home screen. We've added a little welcome message (Charlie is our mascot for the program🐾),  and this includes everything that they need to know about the program. This just kind of brings in everything that is happening across your network, then you have the Discovery tab and you can control what each of these sections are. For example, if you want to have “members near you” (so people can connect with those close to them), or, if you want to display the topics in a different area, you absolutely can. All of this is quite customizable. 

Members and About 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Next, we have the Members tab. Here, you can click in and see all the different members in your network. Your clients can actually add all of their links for their website and social media, so it's a really great way to get to know your members better and be able to check in on your clients. So we have that, then there is a simple About tab, which tells you more about your network. 

Mighty Networks App 📲

Now, there is a really cool feature that I've not mentioned yet. And that's the fact that Mighty Networks has an app. If your clients download it, then they can easily be kept in the loop and get notifications of any upcoming events. Therefore, they will not miss all the good things that are happening within your community!

Kartra Integration 📧

You're probably wondering, “okay, how does this actually combine with my other tech tools that I'm using?” It's really nice and simple! We are using Kartra, that's where people are checking out and joining our email list. Then we go into Kartra, and we export that email list of any of our clients. 

-So we export that list as a CSV. 

-Then all we need to do is come over here to the invite tab. 

-Then you can scroll down, click upload CSV, and then you can invite your members in bulk. They just get this simple, welcome email where they can come and join your Mighty Network. In terms of integrating with your existing tech, it's actually really nice and easy.
