3 Quick Tech Tricks I'm Loving Right Now (for MacBook/iPhone Users)
Heads up: I use affiliate links for my fave products. If you click and purchase, I may receive a small commission at no extra cost to you.
As an online business owner and content creator, I’m always looking for ways to simplify my workflow and save precious time. In this post, I’m sharing three small but powerful tech tricks that I use every single day. These are the little things that add up to big wins when you're managing content, posting to social, or simply trying to stay efficient.
Hit play or read the post below:
1. Instantly Copy and Paste Between Your Mac and iPhone
This is one of my most-used tricks—seriously, I rely on it daily.
If you’ve ever copied a link, paragraph, or piece of text on your Mac and wished you could magically paste it into your phone… you can.
Here’s how it works:
Make sure your Mac and iPhone are signed in to the same Apple ID.
Ensure both devices have Bluetooth and Wi-Fi enabled and are physically near each other.
Copy the text (Command + C on Mac) and then switch to your iPhone and hit Paste—done!
This is a total game-changer for sharing links, captions, and content across platforms—without emailing it to yourself or texting it across.
2. Copy Text from an Image
Need to reuse a caption from an old Instagram story or repurpose content from a screenshot? This trick makes it incredibly easy.
Here’s how:
Take a screenshot of the image or story you want to copy text from.
Open the image on your iPhone or Mac.
Click on the text in the image—you’ll see the option to copy it.
Tap Copy, and paste it wherever you need it.
This is especially helpful when you want to repurpose your past content quickly without having to retype anything.
3. Repurpose Your Instagram Content Inside Canva (Watermark-Free!)
If you’re already creating content in Canva, this tip will save you time and keep everything streamlined.
Here’s what to do:
Open Canva and go to Apps.
Search for and connect the Instagram app.
Once connected, go to Assets and you’ll see your entire Instagram feed.
From there, you can:
Select any past post or Reel.
Download it directly as an MP4 video (without the Instagram watermark).
Add new elements, combine clips, or remix your content in new formats.
No more sketchy download sites or clunky screen recordings. This is a clean, fast, and simple way to repurpose your Instagram content.
