In today's video I wanted to share with you my favorite tools for running a client-based business. Using these tools will save you a ton of time, get you more organized and make your clients happier too!

These are actually all tools that I use in my own business, so I'm going to take you behind the scenes and show you exactly how I use them.

Best Tools for Client-Based Businesses

1. Trello

So the first tool that I want to tell you about is Trello. Trello is a project management system and it was a total game changer for me. I am so much more organized than I used to be. And the best part about it is that for client-based businesses, you can create a new board for each one of your clients, which keeps all of your information separate and keeps you really organized as well. You can also keep all of your client communication within this app. It's awesome.

Actually, there are way more things about this one. I could go on and on... it's an awesome phone app - there's are a million things you can do with it. I think I need to do a separate video specifically about Trello. It's even replaced my physical planner, which I mean, I love physical planners and I never thought that that would ever happen. So yeah, I'll do an entire video on it.

2. Zoom

Tool number two is Zoom. Zoom is what I use for all of my client meetings.

It's kind of like Skype, but I have found the connection to be way better with Zoom. It's also really easy for me to share my screen with clients, which comes in handy because I'm always showing them something techie. And it's also very easy to record your calls so that you can share them with your clients after.

3. DUBSADO

The next tool is Dubsado and this one is unreal. There's so much that you can do with it, but basically, it is what you're going to use for your client on-boarding.

So your contracts, invoicing, any custom quote, keeping track of leads - there's so much that you can do with this tool and you can customize it for your own business. It basically systemizes the entire process of getting clients, so definitely check this one out.

4. Toggl

Toggl is for those of you that are doing hourly work and need to track your time.

This is an awesome app that just runs really easily in the background and lets you keep track of all of your hours. You could also just use it if you wanted to keep track of what you're doing all day and see where your time is going.

5. Google Drive

And last but not least, my final favorite is Google Drive. This is for sharing larger files as well as collaborating on documents.

Sometimes you'll be working on something that requires either collaboration or feedback from your client and it's much easier to just be both working on the same document.

Those are my 5 favourite tools for client-based businesses!

I hope that it gave you a ton of insight into the different tools you could be using to improve your systems and workflow. Of course, there are many other tools out there. These are just the ones that I love and personally recommend ✔️

But I would love to hear from you. What is your favorite tool for your client based business? Let me know in the comments below 👇
